Supporting the Caregiver, In the Workplace

Did you know that on average, a caregiver will spend around 24 hours a week caring for an aging parent or loved one? And out-of-pocket expenses average around $7,000? Those are staggering statistics and something we don’t typically hear about in the workplace setting.

Virtual Wellness Days Are Here! Let’s Party!

Corporate Wellness Days are one of the easiest ways to get your employees engaged in a wellness program and motivated to improve their overall health. Taking care of the Brain – Mental Health workshops making an appearance in the workplace

COVID-19 brought many challenges to individuals, families, and corporate America in the past few months. Along with the worry about the unknown of the virus itself, people have also found themselves worrying about a host of other things. From job security to personal finances, it’s all taking a toll on mental health. We know that having a healthy outlook and positive attitude is just as important as a healthy diet, but what are we doing to make sure that our employees’ mental health is taken care of?

Success through a Donut!

On Saturday, June 16th, our client will celebrate their 7th Annual 5K Event. The Pittsburgh Melanoma Foundation is a 501c3 that provides awareness programs and fundraising events to help educate others about melanoma and the dangers of tanning. New this year, we were able to connect them with Duck Donuts Pittsburgh which offers a give-back program called “Quack Gives Back”. Each month, Duck Donuts selects an organization to highlight and then gives a portion of that month’s sales back to the foundation. Ironically, June 1st is also National Donut Day. What a delicious & perfect way to kick-off the month, all for a great cause.

We are happy to provide sweet success through a donut for this organization as they continue to lead the way with educating people about the dangers of sun exposure and provide amazing support those those who have lost loved ones to melanoma. There was clear potential in connecting these two entities that share a similar mission and we found that sweet spot.
